Mobility Management
Hello! My name is Tam Blakely and I am the Logan County Mobility Manager.
The purpose of my job is to help community members connect with the mode of transportation that is right for their individual needs, whether it be employment, medical, social reasons or necessity. I am here to help.
I work to make access to transportation easier by identifying mobility gaps and needs within the community and then working to bring county agencies together to find solutions.

Beyond Driving with Dignity
I am a certified Beyond Driving with Dignity professional. Having received this certification, I am able to provide older drivers and their families with a program to help make decisions on how to keep the older driver safe. The Beyond Driving with Dignity program is designed to be a common-sense approach to facilitate (and sometimes mediate!) rational, driving-related solutions based on facts and personal observations. CarFit
I am a trained CarFit Technician and a CarFit Event Coordinator. The CarFit program is a national program held in cooperation by AARP, AAA, and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). CarFit Technicians are trained to work individually with older drivers to ensure they "fit" their vehicle properly for maximum comfort and safety. The program also provides information and materials on community-specific resources that could enhance their safety as drivers, and/or increase their mobility in the community.
